Miriam King
My name is Miriam King. I’m also known as “Ms. Mimi.” I am the PAVAC (Performing and Visual Arts Center) film/theatre teacher at Miami Northwestern Senior High School (Performing Arts Magnet). I am most passionate about creating exposure and opportunities around education for students. I’m a professional singer, and when I grow up, I’m hoping to own a production company, become a professor and teach abroad. I decided to participate in Eyes on Your Mission because the reciprocal experiences of service and education is priceless for both students and those who are blessed enough to teach them.

My name is Anthony, I am a junior at Miami Northwestern. I am most passionate about advocating for people who do not have a voice or someone to speak for them. I applied to Eyes On Mission to learn the different aspects of T.V and Film production. An interesting fact about me is that I am into the visual and performing arts. I am looking forward learning new things that can and will help me in the future.

Camari Jackson

Camari Jackson
My name is Camari Jackson, and I am a sophomore at Miami Northwestern Senior High School. I am most passionate about helping people when others may seem to doubt them. I strongly disagree when people look down on other people because they are different or not how someone pictures them to be. Our world would be more successful if everyone didn’t have to be categorized. Volleyball is life. I’m on Miami Northwestern Senior High School varsity volleyball team. I’ve been playing volleyball since 7th grade. When I’m not playing volleyball, I’m reading books on my phone. I like reading fictional books to escape reality sometimes. One interesting thing about me is that I hate orange juice but I love eating oranges. I believe my passion for helping others is what really made me want to contribute to this program. After this program I hope to have learned multiple different skills that can help me later on in my future.
